Derik Nelson and his siblings Riana and Dalten will teach an in-depth week-long workshop at the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center for 10 students. This unique hands-on workshop is best suited for high school or college students with a strong interest, talent, and passion for singing and music. This is for students who are serious about taking their singing, songwriting, and performance skills to the next level!

Through a mix of demonstration, small group work, and one-on-one coaching, the Nelson siblings will lead students through songwriting technique, vocal technique, confident stage performance and presence, harmonizing, collaboration, and composition, and more. Students will write their own song from start to finish during the week, and each student will perform their song on the last day of camp in a group showcase, where family and friends are invited to attend and watch!
